Another successful Annual Boat Trip on the Thames...
The 16th Annual Boat Trip took place on Friday afternoon under clear blue skies and in temperatures in the upper 20’s. Staff made up crews on 2 boats which set off from Hart’s Boat Yard at 2 PM with sufficient provisions for a journey to Sunbury and back via Hampton Court.
The afternoon was another great success with the Thames and Hampton Court at its finest in blue skies and summer sun. With varying levels of experience, navigating Molesey Lock and mooring up at the Albany presented challenges for both crews. Despite several comical moments, the crews managed to return the boats to Hart’s Boat Yard on time - the laughter continued into the evening, with more than just a few red faces enjoying the start of the Bank Holiday weekend!
