Ransome's Wharf sold to City Developments Limited

Singapore-listed City Developments Limited (CDL) have recently bought Ransome's Wharf in Battersea  for development. 
 
Manhire Associates have been working on proposals for the 1.6 acre site since 2007. The site is situated in Battersea’s creative quarter, and is the last section of the Thames Footpath in SW11 to be re-developed. The Award winning development designed by MSMR enhances a 2010 consented scheme.
 
The heart of the development is centred on a new public piazza. There will be ground floor commercial units, which are flexible in both design and use; allowing for a wide range of potential unit sizes and use classes. Externally, the architectural language to the piazza buildings acknowledges the site’s heritage, with the brickwork grid, crittall style fenestration and grouped balconies creating an iconic warehouse aesthetic
