PRS is shaping development in the Royal Oak Opportunity Area with Newground Architect’s Reheasal Rooms development in North Acton providing 173 apartments for rent. With open plan apartments, spacious bedrooms and large balconies, the design team focused on the tenant experience with a function room, meeting area, concierge services and as well as a roof top allotment and delivery bay for removals.

Working closely with Newground Architects, Manhire Associates carefully engineered and detailed the interface with the external façade in brick, and undertook various studies to control slab edge deflections in the long term.

A further 189 apartments for rent have been designed by the team as part of U+I’s Old Vinyl Factory development. The Material Store is being built by Interserve and will be owned and managed by Fizzy Living upon completion.
