Saco open Whitworth Locke in Manchester!

Saco have recently opened the Whitworth Locke in Manchester’s civic quarter, after undergoing a refurbishment of the former cotton mill creating 160 stylish studio and suite rooms designed by  Grzywinski+Pons Architects.

The thoughtful conversion of the beautiful 19th century heritage building follows the successes of the Leman Locke in London and the Eden Locke in Edinburgh. The Whitworth Locke is Saco’s largest Locke yet.

The character and history of the building remains and has been embraced in the renovation. Manhire Associates worked closely with the design team to transform the spaces and expose the character of the original warehouse structure.
