Anna Beard

MICE. MEng, Chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, CSCS Health and Safety Construction Skills Certification

Anna joined Manhire Associates as an Associate and quickly progressed to Director level. Her role involves leading projects, problem solving and providing leadership and direction to staff. Anna is a Chartered Engineer with 19 years’ experience in the industry. Anna graduated from Durham University in 2003, and has held positions previously with Waterman and Robert Bird Group.

Anna is able to work with all the major materials including connections and RC detailing. She is experienced with design of permanent and temporary works, including basements, new builds and refurbishments.

She has successfully managed the design on numerous new build and refurbishment projects in the residential, commercial and retail sectors, and also holds experience in successfully gaining third party approvals from local authorities and party wall approvals. Anna is also familiar in Resident Engineering.

Anna is heavily involved with our graduate training programme. She is a team leader who is able to mentor graduates and trainees towards their Chartership and professional membership of the UK Engineering Institution.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys paddleboarding, walking and even holds a RYA coastal skipper certificate!
