James graduated from the University of Surrey with a first-class honours degree in Civil Engineering. He joined Manhire Associates as an undergraduate on a placement year in 2013 and returned after Graduating. James quickly progressed from a Graduate to Senior level and has recently been promoted to Associate.

James has 7 years of experience working for Manhire Associates, and has worked on a variety of challenging projects, notably One West Point, west London’s tallest tower at 54 Storeys, and Marylebone Lane Hotel, a 4 level deep basement in the heart of London’s West End.

Since he started at Manhire Associates, James has gained considerable experience in the design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures working on a variety of civil/structural engineering, new build and refurbishment projects.

James is very involved in the CPD Programme at Manhire Associates and organizes many of the internal workshops for staff. He also works closely with the Graduate engineers to assist in training and development.
